
A full-day rate includes 9 hours. A half-day includes 5 hours. Personal Agent's regular working hours are from 7 AM to 9 PM consecutively.
Yes. Additional half-day booking is available when you book minimum of two days. You can book a maximum of two half-days per booking, one at the beginning and the other at the end of your booking period. The rate of one half-day is 70% of the full-day rate. Half days can be marked during your booking process.
The minimum booking is 1 day.
Yes. A maximum of 4 hours can be booked, in addition to every full-day service. Maximum extension of your Personal Agent's working hour is until 11 PM. The hourly rate of overtime booking is 20% of the daily rate. You can book extra hours at any time online, even after your arrival in Shanghai.
No. There will be no extra charges other than the rate you see on your bill at the time of your booking. But you are expected to cover all the expenses for taxi, public transport, meals, entry fees and such for yourself as well as your Personal Agent.
Our rates change depending on the season, number of persons in a group or applicable discounts for long-term booking. Please view our online calendar for different seasonal rates.
Look for promotional periods in the website calendar. We offer 5% discount for bookings that exceed 5 consecutive days, 10% discount for 10 consecutive days and 15% discount for 21 consecutive days. No discount is available during high season. Another way to get discount is to leave your feedback on our website. To all the clients who give us their feedback, we reward them with 150 CNY voucher towards their next booking.
Your booking is automatically guaranteed by your credit card at the time of your online payment. You will receive an email with a confirmation invoice. In a separate email, you'll receive your booking code and login details to view your booking status.
Yes. Your invoice will be automatically generated at the time of your booking. All amounts are in CNY and net total.
You can easily change your booking online. After you've completed your booking, you will receive a booking code as well as login details to view your booking status. There, you can make changes, either booking overtime or even canceling your existing booking if necessary. Please note, that cancellation fees do apply.
Yes. The full amount will be charged with your credit card at the time of your booking. Cancellation of a booking is only 30 Days ahead of time possible. In less than 30 days you will be charged 70% of your total amount. A refund will be granted back to your credit card.

Yes. After you've completed your booking online you will receive a booking code as well as login details to view your booking status. This gives you immediate access to your private message board with your Personal Agent, which enables you to leave a note for your Personal Agent. You can ask questions or make requests for your stay in Shanghai/Beijing via your message board. Your Personal Agent will respond within 24 hours and start to make arrangements accordingly.
Your Personal Agent will provide his/her cell phone number and email addresse at the beginning of your service in Shanghai/Beijing.
All the first meeting arrangements can be planned with your Personal Agent via the message board after the booking. You can arrange to meet your Personal Agent either in the lobby of your hotel or any other public meeting point. With an additional charge, your Personal Agent can meet you at the Airport at the time of your arrival. Airport transfer service is available online under the Additional Services category.
Yes. While your Personal Agent will gladly join you for restaurant meals, if you wish, you are responsible for the expenses.
Yes. Please inform us via email with your request before booking, as special conditions might apply. You're responsible for all the expenses when traveling with a Personal Agent out side of Shanghai/Beijing. If overnight stay is required, a separate hotel room must be booked for your Personal Agent.
Your Personal Agent is allowed to join you in public places only. It's strictly forbidden for a Personal Agent to accompany a client in any private quarters, homes or hotel rooms.
Generally, Yes. However, AtYourSide does not hold responsibilities for the clients' medical conditions. We advise to consult local doctors prior to your trip if you have medical conditions. If you have a medical condition or any handicap that might require special assistance, please let us know in advance. We will do our best to accommodate special-needs clients.
No. Clients must be over 18 years of age to hire a Personal Agent, or must be accompanied by adults.
Yes. However, the maximum number of a group is 6. Up to 3 persons, 20% of surcharge will be added to the daily rate. Up to 6 persons, 50% is applicable. If your group consists more than 6 people, we advise you to book two or more Personal Agents for optimum service.
Yes. Personal Agents can be booked for trade show services. However, different fees and regulations apply when hiring them for trade shows. Please contact us via email to book trade show services.
No. AtYourSide practices No-Tipping policy. When you are pleased with the service, however, please do let us know by posting your ratings and reviews. Good ratings will reflect positively on the salary of your Personal Agent. We highly value any type of feedback from our clients, as it helps us to improve our service. We even reward your ratings and comments with a personal 150 CNY voucher towards your next booking.

No. Every client's itinerary is unique, as your stay will be planned individually by your Personal Agent based on your specific requirements. We try to come up with a customized and the most effective itinerary that suits your schedule and interest.
